Gulf International Promotions was formed on February 1, 1998 and opened its office on the mezzanine floor of the Mattar Al Tayer building, adjacent to Baby Shop, Karama.

Dubai, the Sports Capital of the Middle East, is bustling with people eager to take part in various sports/cultural activities. There are those who want to get fit, compete, or have a good time. Then there are those who simply want to socialize. We, at Gulf International Promotions decided to cater to the growing sports-crazy public of the UAE, and to provide activities and entertainment for the residents.  

We are a company of many talents. Our structure and workforce have many years of experience, which results in events of a very high caliber being organised.

Some of our major events have been during the annual Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) and The Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), where thousands of people of various nationalities, and ages have either participated in or witnessed them.

An annual event held by GIP during DSF is the 'Sportzone'. Companies, Hotels, and the general public all go there on a daily basis to enjoy, and compete in the various tournaments held. There are sports to interest everyone: Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Carrom, Hockey, Cricket etc.

During the year, we also organise various sports tournaments such as football and hockey. The most recently notable tournament was the 'Mini Indian World Cup' which featured local teams and those from India, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman, amongst others.

We also organise various entertainment events, including the New Year’s Eve Ball, and various acts and artists from abroad. Viz.

Our company also specialises in assisting with the recruitment of professional football players. We have agents in Europe, Africa, and the Asian sub-continent, and cater to all budgets.

We have the expertise to organise events of any magnitude, be it a Company Promotion or an International Event. We have done it all!
